A woman was taken to Watauga Medical Center suffering injuries from a lunchtime accident in the horseshoe curve on Poplar Grove Road South. The nearly head-on crash involved a large Chevy SUV and a large work truck belonging to a construction company.  The woman was carefully pulled from the wreckage and transported by Watauga Medics while the State Patrol investigated.  Poplar Grove Road traffic was tied up for some time due to the wreck.
