 The Downtown Boone Development Association, The Town of Boone, the Jones House Community and Cultural Center, and the Watauga County Public Library, in conjunction with many local business sponsors, are announcing the 2013 Easter EGGstravaganza. The event will take place from
2:00 – 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 23rd, 2013, beginning at the Watauga County Library. Story-telling and arts & crafts will entertain the children followed by the Easter Parade to the Jones House Community and Cultural Center for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Children up to the age of 10 can hunt for candy-filled eggs as well as a limited number of “golden eggs” that can be traded for a prize given by area merchants. In Case of Bad Weather: We will have activities at the Watauga County Public Library. Please note that the decision on the bad weather plan will be made by 10:00 am on the day of the event.
