A second injury wreck in just under 14 hours occurred on 421 North, one late Monday afternoon and another early Tuesday—both rear-end collisions.  This morning’s wreck occurred at the US 421 and US 321 intersection at about 7:20 as Kristin Harmon came to the yield sign on US 321, her 2004 Mercury SUV rear ended by the 2001 Dodge pickup of Matthew Reed of Georges Gap in Vilas. Watauga Medics transported the Wards Branch Road woman to Watauga Medical Center, suffering neck and head pain.  Trooper Goldsmith cited Matthew Reed with Failure to Reduce Speed.
