Zionville Man Hurt in Late Afternoon Crash PDF Print

A Zionville man was injured when a Mountain City woman slammed her car into the rear of his on US 421 near Tater Hill Road late yesterday afternoon.  The state patrol said that Michael Martin, a paraplegic, was hurt when his Honda Element was struck from the rear by the 2006 Audi of Teresa Whitener.  Martin was transported to Watauga Medical Center by Medics, said to be in some pain, while Teresa Whitener was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed in the 5:30pm wreck.
