Women’s Studies Program at Appalachian State University will host a fundraiser tomorrow to bring an international scholar to campus to serve as a visiting professor in the program.
It’ll be at the Jones House in downtown Boone from 3-5 p.m. Music will be provided by the band Blue Trillium, and door prizes will be awarded. Heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine and water will be served. A $20 donation is suggested. A $5 donation is suggested for students and the unemployed.
