Lenoir Police have arrested four Charlotte men after the passage of counterfeit business checks at a local food store.  The call came in about noon yesterday to the Food Lion on Wilkesboro Blvd., finding one of the four still in the store, apparently still in the act of passing such a check. With information provided by Food Lion employees, a vehicle with the other three suspects was stopped on Hickory Blvd., and the trio was arrested.  Police says that the three passed two checks at the Food Lion and were able to leave the store with several hundred dollars in cash. Hudson investigators also charged on of the men in the passage of a counterfeit check at their Food Lion on US 321. Charged are; Gregory Latrone James, Comma Lee Smith, both 31, Dashawn Jafone Edwards, 18, and 21-year old Frankie Davis Rogers. Each was charged with Forgery and Uttering and set bonds of $20,000 and jailed in the Caldwell Detention Center.  The checks had been forged on an account listed to M & S Warehouse of Lenoir.
