Watauga High Athletic Director Tom Wright has announced that Wednesday's scheduled tennis match between the Pioneers and Hickory has been snowed out

and will be made up next Wednesday, March 13.
The WHS track team had its meet at Hickory postponed. It's been rescheduled for Thursday, and the only dilemma for the track team, will be finding an available bus to make the trip.
WHS will have five sporting events on the schedule Thursday. The WHS baseball and softball teams travel to Fred T. Foard; the WHS girl's soccer team travels to Morganton to play Avery at 7 p.m. in the second round of the Freedom Tournament; WHS boy's golf has a qualifying meet in Lenior, N.C., at the Lenior Golf Club. Hibriten, South Caldwell, West Caldwell and Patton will be competing against the Pioneers at that meet.
