Two Lenoir residents met up in Blowing Rock last week—colliding in an accident Wednesday. Blowing Rock Police say the accident occurred when a 1990 Ford driven by Thomas Jefferey Hartley, 57, of Lenoir rear ended a 1995 Toyota, driven by Cynthia Parsons Maltba, 40, of Lenoir. Rock wreck Friday involved Leigh Taylor Hamilton, 36, of Blowing Rock, who police say ran off of the roadway on Goforth Road. No other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported. Damage to Hamilton’s vehicle was estimated at $4500.
