WHS Baseball, Softball Postponed PDF Print

Watauga High Athletic Director Tom Wright has announced that today's scheduled baseball and softball games between the Pioneers and Fred T. Foard in Newton, N.C., have been postponed due

to rain. The WHS baseball and softball teams are looking at the possibility of making these games up on Thursday.
It's the second time in three days the WHS baseball team has been washed out. The Pioneers were rained out on Saturday against Ardrey Kell. No make up date has been announced for that game.
The WHS baseball team is scheduled to play a non-conference game (weather-permitting) at North Davidson on Wednesday. If they play, coverage begins at 6 p.m., on Classic Hits 100.7 FM.


WHS Golf Postponed


Watauga High boy's golf coach Mike Northern has announced that Tuesday's non-conference match at Catawba Springs Country Club in Hickory, N.C., has been cancelled. The match will not be rescheduled.
The Pioneers travel to the Cedar Rock Country Club in Lenior, N.C., next Tuesday.
