High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:  At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Sunday February 10th, a residential mailbox on Dogwood Road in Boone was destroyed as the result of a small explosion.  The explosive used was likely a firework or other similar small explosive device.  There are no reports of injury connected with this vandalism.
