The Parkway Middle School girls basketball team won the Watauga County Middle School championship by knocking off Hardin Park 30-26 at Watauga High's Lentz-Eggers Gym. Parkway led 13-11 at halftime. Brielle  McKinney led Parkway with

11 points; Katherine Stapleton led Hardin Park with seven points.
Valle Crucis won the boys championship by knocking off Hardin Park, 38-35. Jeremy Ringler paced Valle Crucis and led all scorers with 19 points. Evan Suggs led Hardin Park with 10 points. Valle Crucis rallied from a six-point halftime deficit to win the championship.
