The Lees-McRae College athletic department will host Church Night on Wednesday, February 13 when the Bobcat men’s and women’s basketball teams host rival King College in Conference Carolinas play, announced Director of Athletics Craig
McPhail Monday. All area youth groups are invited to attend, and all who bring a church bulletin will receive free admission to the games. The women’s game is scheduled to tip off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 7:30 p.m. Shortly after the conclusion of the men’s game, Lees-McRae will host its weekly Worship on Wednesdays, a nondenominational worship gathering led and facilitated by students. WOW consists of a gathering and fellowship time, worship music, and relevant teaching from an area pastor, faculty or staff member from the college, or a student. It is a great time for students to be spiritually recharged, and gives them a time to be connected to the faith community of the college. In addition to WOW, Campus Ministries offers service trips, small group Bible studies throughout the campus, and various on and off campus projects. For more information on Lees-McRae’s on-campus ministries, please contact Associate Dean of Students Mitch Marlowe by phone at (828) 898-3311 or by email at
