Computers, Car stolen: Crimestoppers alerts PDF Print

Watauga County Crimestoppers needs your help in identifying the person responsible for a Thursday break-in at an apartment on Brown Street.

Police say someone entered through a window and took two laptop computers, a video game console and an undetermined amount of cash.

In a separate incident, between 9:30 last night at 2:50 this morning, someone is alleged to have taken a 1999 Honda Civic from Queen Street. The vehicle is blue and the license plate reads MPK-2063.

Between November 4 and November 8, a rental residence on Alpine Road in Blowing Rock was broken into. Someone is alleged to have damaged a window and a doorframe and gotten away with a Sony 32-inch LCD Television.

Between November 5 and 8, someone broke into a rental residence on Ski Acres Drive, damaged a window, and took an Akai 42-Inch Plasma Television.

Finally, between 5 p.m. October 22 and 7 a.m. October 29, a Pro 1900 metal brake, cutting wheel and coil holder were taken from the back of a truck located on Willowdale Church Road in Vilas.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to call Crimestoppers at 828-262-4555. You may be eligible for a reward.
