In spite of the howling winds and torrential rains, the Watauga Board of Education opened their specially called meeting last night, then closed the doors, working on personnel. At one point, two attorneys present, Joe Miller and Chris Campbell emerged and indicated that
there would probably be no decision from the session. Their session went on late into the evening, and it appears they ended the meeting without a decision. Speculation is that the personnel discussion was over a number of incidents involving Watauga Superintendent of Schools, Dr. David Kafitz. |
