Many eyes are on the specially called Board of Education meeting called for this evening—a closed session with one item on the agenda—personnel.  The notice of that meeting came as another written account has surfaced involving an interaction with Watauga Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Kafitz. The statement comes from Watauga Board of Elections Director Jane Ann Hodges concerning an incident on Election Day 2012, added to an incident at Mellow Mushroom during Christmas holidays. Just what will unfold as the day goes along and into that closed session remains to be seen.
