Lenoir Police are now confirming that the death of a 28-year old man found dead last week was a homicide. Their release says that the autopsy on the body of Wade Michael Taylor Jr. indicates that the former Woodsway Lane Lenoir man died from injuries sustained in what they’re calling a ‘severe assault.’ Taylor was found dead in an area behind Lenoir Mall last Wednesday near a campsite, but just what theories Lenoir Police might have in the murder are being kept close to the vest.
