 Georgia Southern and The Citadel have released their schedules for the upcoming 2013 season. The Eagles (10-4 last season), who shared the
Southern Conference title with Appalachian State and Wofford College last season, will open the 2013 campaign at home against Savannah State on Saturday, August 31. The Eagles, national semifinalists the last two seasons, travel to Boone to play ASU on Saturday October 26. The Eagles will close out the regular season at Florida on November 23. The Citadel (7-4 last season) will open its season at home against Charleston Southern on Saturday, August 31. The Bulldogs entertain ASU on Saturday, October 5. The Bulldogs defeated both Georgia Southern and ASU last season. It was the first time since 2003 that The Citadel last defeated two ranked teams in a season; it was also the first time the Bulldogs knocked off two Top 10 teams in the same season since 1991. The Bulldogs will also play at Clemson at November 23.
