Watauga High swimming coach David Gragg has announced that the Northwestern 3A/4A Conference championships scheduled for Friday in Valdese, N.C., have been postponed. The championships will

now be held at the Hickory Foundation YMCA next Wednesday, January 30, beginning at 5 p.m.
And WHS indoor track coach Kevin Shaw has announced that all the events scheduled for Friday at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C., have been postponed. The events have been moved to Saturday.
As far as basketball is concerned, Friday night's games between WHS and Fred T. Foard are still on as scheduled. The WHS athletic department should make a decision by mid-morning concerning those contests. Updates on those games will be made available on AM 1450, WATA and goblueridge.net.
