A 20-year old Deep Gap man is charged in connection with two business break-ins and the theft of cash from each, the crimes in November and December. On November 30th, a report of a break-in at Pet Style Salon at 520 Moretz Road, Boone, was discovered, with about $300 cash taken. Then on December 11th, Watauga County Sheriff’s Office received a report of Breaking and Entering and Larceny from Stockyard Bucking Company located at 280 Livestock Market Road. Stockyard Bucking Company reported that $590.00 in cash was taken from the business.  Sheriff Hagaman reported that the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit conducted an investigation into both incidents, resulting in arrest of Tylar Watson, of 1384 Brownwood Road, Deep Gap. He was charged with two counts of felony breaking and entering and two of felony larceny. Tylar Watson was arrested on January 10th, and is scheduled to appear in court on February 26th.
