Boone Police are asking for help in solving a crime from last week at a local home improvement store. Last Tuesday, January 8th, at approximately 5:15pm, a white male wearing a black hoodie entered Lowes Home Improvement and stole a Poulan 50cc 2cycle 20inch Chainsaw. He exited the business and drove off in a red 1999 – 2000 model Oldsmobile Alero with a spoiler.  He was accompanied by another white male and white female.  Anyone with information on this crime or any other crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at 828-268-6959 / 828-737-0125 or the Boone Police Department at 828-268-6900.  All information will be kept confidential.
