Lenoir Police were seeking one suspect, but have ended up with four charged in a felony hit and run incident from last Sunday evening. Police issued a bulletin for Miguel Cruz Cepeda in the Spainhour Street incident, and have arrested the suspect, charging him with Felony
Hit and Run, Assault with a Deadly Weapon and No Operators License, and he is confined in the Caldwell Jail. Police have also charged Carlos Tapia Alvarez with Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Failure to Reduce Speed, Reckless Driving and Wanton Disregard, with a bond of $5000; Heather Dawn Alvarez is charged with the felony of being a Passenger Fleeing the Scene of an accident with injury, her bond $3000. And Jessica Campos-Ballesteros is also charged for allowing an unlicensed person to drive, with a bond of $500 set. Foothills Radio says that the unnamed victim of the hit and run was released after treatment at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. |
