A $1000 reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of a lithograph, stolen over the holidays in Ashe County—and to the arrest and conviction of the thief. The Escher Lithograph print, serial No. 53 / 108 entitled, “Ascending and Descending,” was taken from the Glendale /Jefferson area of Ashe County just before Christmas. The Escher lithograph is matted in a silver frame approx 3’ X 4’ and is from Escher’s Recognition and Success series 1955 - 1972.
