The L-R Men's and Women's Swimming Teams established several new school marks after the third day of competition Sunday at the Nova Southeastern

Shark Invitational. The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Swimming Team stands in fifth place with 289 points while the women's squad has totaled 136 points and is in eighth place.
Florida Southern (852.5 points) and Nova Southeastern (748.5 points) lead the men's and women's competition after three days, respectively.
Freshman Leah Watts (Hickory, N.C.) broke school records in both the women's 400-yard individual medley (4:38.02) and the women's 200-yard freestyle (1:55.65) events.
Watts finished seventh in the 400-yard individual medley and her time in the 200-yard freestyle was an NCAA Division II "B" cut qualifying time for the national championship.  On Saturday, Watts also earned an NCAA Division II "B" cut time in the 500-yard freestyle.
On the men's side, sophomores Cody Shaw (Greenville, N.C.) and Kyle Hites (Lenoir, N.C.) broke school records in the 400-yard individual medley (4:13.84) and 100-yard breaststroke (59.53), respectively, for the Bears.
The final day of the four-day competition takes place on Monday at the Nova Southeastern University Aquatics Center.
