An assault has led to the arrest of an Ashe man.  The Ashe Sheriff’s Office said that Frankie Chedo Gomez, 29, was charged with two counts of Resist Public Officer, for resisting both Officers Jennifer Cary and J.D. McClure. The officers responded to an assault on a female report when the defendant resisted arrest. On these charges, Gomez is incarcerated facing $1,500 bond, with court in a month.  Subject also placed on ICE hold for immigration officials.
