| L-R Softball Signs Robinson and Three Others For 2014 Season |

![]() Lenoir-Rhyne Head Softball Coach Shena Hollar has announced the signing of four players for the 2014 season. Sarah Kenley, Dakota Keller, Sydney Landreth and Kimberly Robinson will play for the Bears next year.
Robinson (Boone, N.C.) is a pitcher and first baseman at Watauga High School and is a member of the Catawba Valley Storm travel team. Robinson is a two-time All-Northwestern 4A Conference selection (2011-12) and was the team's Most Valuable Player in 2011.
Kenley (Charlotte, N.C.) plays catcher at Lincoln Charter High School in Denver, N.C., and is a member of the North Carolina Sundevils travel team.
Keller (Mooresboro, N.C.) plays outfield at Crest High School and is a part of the Foothills Heat summer team. Keller is a three-time All-Big South 3A Conference pick (2010-12) and a two-time all-district and all-state honoree (2011-12).
Landreth (Disputanta, Va.) is a first baseman and catcher at Prince George High School in Prince George, Va. Landreth also plays summer ball for the Virginia Lady Titans and the Richmond Ruckus. Landreth garnered All-Central District honors three times (2010-12) and was an academic all-district selection as well.
Lenoir-Rhyne went 48-13 last season and earned a trip to the playoffs for the seventh straight year. The Bears also won the South Atlantic Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championships for the third consecutive season in 2012. L-R opens the year on February 6, 2013, on the road against Belmont Abbey in a doubleheader beginning at 1:30 p.m.
