A Cove Creek man was arrested Friday, charged with a number of drug manufacturing and sale counts. 32-year old Timothy Jack Tower of 733 Old US Hwy 421 was arrested on outstanding warrants by Watauga County Deputies and Boone Police Officers. The warrants stemmed
from a search warrant conducted on November 6th by detectives from the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Division. As a result of the search warrant, Tower was charged with Trafficking in Opium/Heroin by Possession, 2 counts of Possession With Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Schedule II CS, along with Sell/Deliver Controlled Substance within 1000 ft of a Park/School, and Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Tower is currently being held at the Watauga County Detention Facility under a $75,500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on December 18th. |
