An Ashe County woman was injured in a roll-over wreck that snarled traffic on NC 194 yesterday morning. The crash was just before 9am near the Clint Norris Road intersection closest to town, and involved a Subaru SUV that rolled over, landing across both lanes of the highway. Arriving Boone Firemen and Watauga Medics were unable to remove the woman from the vehicle, and had to cut the roof off before they could safely get her out of the van.  The woman, identified by Trooper Searcy as Judy Milam of Creston, was said to be disoriented but conscious en route to the hospital when finally removed from the wreck.  The 51-year old was transported by Watauga Medics to Watauga Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to Searcy, who cited Judy Milam with DWI due to medications she was on.
