The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office announced today that as a result of an internal investigation Sheriff Alan Jones has accepted the resignation of four Sheriff’s Office personnel and two communications personnel. This is a confidential personnel matter therefore we cannot address the nature or any additional details regarding the investigation. “We will regret the loss of these officers but it will not affect services to the citizens of the county” stated Sheriff Alan Jones.
Sheriff Jones also announced that reorganization has taken place at the Sheriff’s Office and Sergeant William J. Fore has been promoted to division commander of the patrol division with the rank of Captain.  “Captain Fore has more than twenty years’ experience in law enforcement and I have confidence that he will be a great addition to the command staff” stated Sheriff Jones.
“I am excited to be working with some of the finest men in law enforcement and look forward to the opportunity to better serve the citizens of Caldwell County” stated Captain Fore.
