New members of the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce will be featured at an event on the evening of Wednesday, November 28th.  The Chamber and Community "Showcase" will be held in conjunction with the ASU-Duquesne basketball game for an evening fit for families and all interested in High Country community life. The Watauga Community Band will provide some of the halftime entertainment as part of the 'community' side of the event, Dr. Dan Meyer of the Chamber saying its a great time for the community to come out to support business and ASU, and to learn about local goods and services that might not be familiar. Tickets to the event--including the game--are $5, with doors to the Holmes Convocation Center opening at 5:30, the event going on until after halftime of the basketball game.
