The SHP is investigating a 2:44pm crash of a motorcycle and an SUV just before the entrance to University Nissan on US 421.  The cyclist was found lying on the ground when first emergency units from Boone Fire arrived on the scene, but he was transported to Watauga Medical Center non-emergency traffic by medics.
