Just after noon, a sedan and a service truck from a Mooresville electrical firm collided on the access to US421 at the Food Lion shopping center. Four were reportedly injured, and three were transported by Watauga Medics to Watauga Medical Center, including a child. The pickup, driven
by terry Lee Dixon of Cleveland, NC, was completely flipped over, spilling electrical components, after pulling out in front of the small sedan, driven by Shawn Lang of Boone. Lang, an 18-year old woman and an 11 month old child were transported by Watauga Medics, while the State Patrol cited Dixon with an Unsafe Movement in the 12:10pm crash. |
