Alexander Central High School's softball team has been recognized for its performance in the 2011-12 academic year in the 2012 National Fastpitch

Coaches Association Top 10 All-Academic Team Rankings. In the high school categories, Alexander Central nabbed top honors among programs with weighted GPAs via a 4.300 GPA, while Olathe North High School HS (Kan.) proved the tops among non-weighted schools with a 3.890 GPA. The NFCA Academic Awards program honors both collegiate and high school teams for their submitted GPAs from the 2011-2012 academic year.
