Watauga High Athletics Director Tom Wright has announced that the Pioneers' men's soccer team will take on Cornelius-Hough on the road Wednesday night

in the sectional finals at 6 p.m. The Pioneers (17-3-3) advanced by knocking off A.C. Reynolds 1-0 Saturday night; the Huskies (13-6-2), the No.1 seed from the I-Meck Conference, advanced by shutting out West Mecklenburg 4-0 Saturday night.
Wednesday night's winner advances to the Class 4A Western Regional on Saturday, November 10, and will play either Asheville-Roberson or North Mecklenburg.
