Appalachian State University men's soccer has earned the No. 6 seed in this season's Southern Conference Championships and will head to No. 3 College of Charleston for its quarterfinal match on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. The Mountaineers

finished the regular season with a 7-7-3 record and a 2-3-2 mark in league play and enter the tournament riding a two-match win streak.
College of Charleston clinched the third-seed when it closed out its conference schedule on Tuesday with a 4-2-1 SoCon record. CofC finished tied for second place in the conference, but lost the tiebreaker to No. 2 Furman.
The quarterfinal will mark the second time Appalachian will travel to Charleston this year, falling 3-0 to the Cougars earlier this season.
