Todd Teen Hurt in Morning Wreck PDF Print

A Todd teen was injured on her way to class this morning on NC 194 in a single-car crash. Trooper Hendrix said that 18-year old Ashley Jarrett lost control of her 2005 Ford sedan when she looked away for a moment and found herself going off of the road in the 6000 block of the highway.

Her car struck a mailbox then three small trees off of the road before coming to rest a distance off of the road.  The impact was not enough to deploy the airbags on the car, and injuries to Ashley Jarrett were not serious—mainly pain and soreness, according to trooper Hendrix, who cited her for Failure to Maintain Lane Control.
