Callers; Ashe Production Jobs to be Lost PDF Print

Calls and on-line chatter is indicating that lay-offs have been announced in house at United Chemi-Con in Lansing. The reports say that 150 of the 260 electronics production jobs there are to be moved off-shore—specifically Malaysia, according to one caller.  There is no confirmation in any release from the company, as of yet, and nothing on their website, so we’re awaiting official word on whether High Country manufacturing jobs are to be lost.
