Busy Early Voting in Watauga PDF Print

Voting is underway—and was brisk all morning as one-stop voting opened for the Fall elections. Some candidates were present, others had representatives outside the polling places with a sea of signs extolling voters to cast ballots for them. The one-stop locations today and tomorrow are at Boards of Election offices across the High Country, with the Plemmons Student Union on the ASU campus joining in Monday for the 5000-plus students who registered since August in Watauga to have a convenient polling place.  And there was a vote rally this morning, to be followed by another Monday at the Sanford Mall on campus to be sure that all remember to vote.  Another early voting site opens in Watauga on October 31st at the Foscoe Fire Department, with that week ending with a Saturday session of voting November 3rd. The general election is November 6th.
