On Monday, October 29th from 5pm to 9pm Bandana’s BBQ & Grill will host “Give Back Night,” featuring members of the ASU football team to benefit Western Youth Network.  The event will be held at Bandana’s BBQ & Grill, Highway 105, Boone, NC. At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to eat the best BBQ in town, meet Appalachian State University football players, talk to Western Youth Network staff and board members, and enter a raffle for numerous prizes signed by Appalachian State University football players.  10% of proceeds from Bandana’s BBQ & Grill and 100% of proceeds from the raffle will benefit the youth and families served by Western Youth Network.

“We are incredibly grateful to Bandana’s for hosting such a wonderful event that will benefit so many youth and families in the High Country,” said Director of Development, Faith Motter.  “Without the support of the community, WYN would not exist.”

Western Youth Network is a relationship-focused resource for youth and families in the High Country. Through prevention and intervention programs, WYN specializes in providing youth with the tools they need to reach their potential and discover their place in our community and in our world.  Working to this end, WYN provides Substance Abuse Prevention Programs, After School, Mentoring, and Summer Day Camp to over 400 youth and their families in the High Country each year.
Western Youth Network is 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 1985 to address gaps in service for youth in Watauga County.  Now, more than 25 years later, WYN serves youth and families of Watauga, Avery, Ashe, Wilkes, Alleghany, and Mitchell counties.
