is the host institution. King leads the tournament with a 293 (+5) on the par-72, 7,037-yard course. L-R is tied with Belmont Abbey while 15 teams are in competition.
Anderson's Arran Setro and Thomas More's Mike Marcagi currently lead the intercollegiate after 18 holes with a one-under 71. L-R is led by sophomore Zach Burket (Taylorsville, N.C.), who is tied for third with a 72 (E) while junior John White (Dudley Shoals, N.C.) finished the first round tied for 13th with a 74 (+2).
Senior Megan Katsch (Wilmington, N.C.) is the top player for Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Golf Team at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational in Salisbury, N.C. The tournament is taking place at the Country Club of Salisbury.
Katsch is tied for 19th with a 79 (+7) while freshman Elizabeth Ewing (Greensboro, N.C.) carded an 87 (+15), good for a 60th-place tie.
Newberry leads the tournament with a 294 (+6) on the par-72, 5,998-yard course and has the top individual in Barbara Castro. Castro shot a three-under 69 in the first round of play.
The final rounds of both tournaments take place on Tuesday.
