![]() The Watauga High volleyball team continued its rollar coaster ride Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers (14-11) dropped a pair of games at the Northwest Guilford tri-match. The Pioneers, who haven't lost this many games in a season since 2002, were swept by Northwest Guilford and Chapel Hill. Northwest Guilford defeated WHS, 18-25, 13-25, 24-26; Chapel Hill defeated WHS, 19-25, 17-25, 19-25. Sarah Combs had 38 assists in the loss. Rebecca Hayes had 16 kills and six blocks; Channing Hagaman had 16 kills and 20 digs; Meredith Farthing had three kills and three digs; Sarah Petersen had three kills; Sydney Farthing had nine digs.
