Controversial Medical Clinic Back Before Boone PDF Print
Written by Steve Frank

The Boone Board of Adjustments will again take up the controversial construction of a medical clinic proposed for property on State Farm Road proposed by Phil Templeton in 2007 and twice denied by the Boone Town Council.  The matter has, twice, ended up in court, and the latest court ruling sent it back to Boone and mandated the procedure set for the ‘adoption of findings of fact’ regarding the Special Use Permit request. Approval by the Board of Adjustment and Boone Town Council would allow the medical clinic to be built at 315 State Farm Road.  No public hearing will be conducted on the matter at the 5:30pm meeting.
