![]() Appalachian State University field hockey fell to Davidson College, 4-0 in its third NorPac match up of the 2012 season. The Mountaineers fell behind in the 23rd minute when the Wildcats were able to lift the ball up over the keeper’s shoulder, giving them the only goal they would need to clinch the win. Davidson took the 1-0 lead into halftime, outshooting the Apps 12-4 and drawing four penalty corners, while the Mountaineers were unable to draw one. The Wildcats took the 2-0 advantage when Brooke Osbourne was able to sneak a rebound past keeper Sarah Anderson.
