![]() The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team (9-5) stepped out of conference play Tuesday night and swept Limestone (3-13), 3-0, at Shuford Memorial Gymnasium. The Bears beat the Saints by scores of 25-16, 25-23 and 25-18. Lenoir-Rhyne freshman setter Briana Gottberg (Mooresville, N.C.) led the way with 12 kills and 19 assists as the Bears improved to 5-0 at home this season. Freshman outside hitter Morgan Bunker (Mount Airy, N.C.) added 10 kills and 11 digs as the Bears won their second consecutive game. L-R senior setter Meredith Lutz (Newton, N.C.) also dished out 19 assists and sophomore defensive specialist Emily Culler (Mount Airy, N.C.) totaled a match-high 12 digs as well.
