Upcoming blood drives in Ashe County include:}

^{-Today at Wal-Mart, from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

-Next Thursday the 19}^{th at the National Guard Armory from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Carolinas Blood Services, which supplies blood to approximately 103 hospitals, needs 1,600 blood and platelet donors a day to meet the needs of patients in the region.
