A Watauga County man was defrauded in trying to complete a purchase on a deal made on Craigslist, according to Boone Police, and is out $6000 cash.  The incident occurred Tuesday night as the local met with a man on the lot of a Highway 105 inn, intending to complete the purchase of a raft.  But after turning the cash over to the man, he got into his vehicle and drove off toward US 421.  The suspect was said to be driving a silver Chevy SUV with West Virginia tags, but he has not been located at this point.
