Missing Girl Found Safe in Globe Area PDF Print

A teenager who was reported missing in the Globe area Friday afternoon was found unharmed.

Thirteen-Year-old Dominique Johnson reportedly walked away from the family residence at approximately 10:30 a.m. The girl’s mother reported her missing at 2 p.m. Emergency Management Coordinator Tommy Courtner said members of his department arrived on the scene at 3:30 p.m. Dominique Johnson was found at 6:30 Friday night when she emerged from the woods along the Caldwell/Watauga County line near Blowing Rock.
