![]() The Watauga High men's soccer team scored six times in the second half and routed South Caldwell 7-0 at Jack Groce Stadium in a Northwestern 3A/4A Conference game. Seven different players scored as the Pioneers (10-1-2 overall; 3-0-1 NW3A/4A) remained undefeated in league play. Tucker Chasteen, who set up Alex Parsons for WHS's first goal in the first half, led the way with a goal and two assists. Parsons and Logan Raichle each had a goal and an assist apiece.
WHS TENNIS DOUBLES UP SOUTH CALDWELL
The Watauga High women's tennis team won its 11th match in a row by knocking off South Caldwell 6-3 in a Northwestern 3A/4A Conference match at the WHS Tennis Courts Monday afternoon. Monday's match was a rescheduled match that was rained out last Wednesday. The Pioneers (11-0 overall; 3-0 NW3A/4A) put the contest away by sweeping the Spartans in singles play. Meredith Smith, Hannah Petersen, Nicole Fox, Emily Burwell, Kelsi Kanoy and Annika Davidson won each of their matches in straight sets.
