Two injuries were reported in a wreck on Mabel School Road Sunday night.  The State Patrol said the 8:35pm wreck occurred as Michael Robinson was traveling too fast for the curve he was trying to negotiate and ran his extended cab pickup off of the road. Robinson, of Old US 421,  and a 15-year old girl in the truck were injured and transported by Watauga Medics while a third person in the truck said they were not hurt. The investigating trooper said the injured were not wearing seat belts.
