The Appalachian State University football team, fresh off its huge win at home against Montana in a top-25, early season showdown at Kidd Brewer

Stadium, has moved up three spots in this week's The Sports Network Top 25 College Football Poll.
The Mountaineers (1-1), who were ranked 11th last week, are eighth this week. Wofford, which demolished Lincoln College of Pennsylvania on Saturday, moved up one spot to ninth. Georgia Southern, which was ranked third, falls eight spots to 11th after the Eagles dropped a 23-21 decision against The Citadel on Saturday.
The Bulldogs (2-0 overall; 1-0 Southern Conference), who make their way to Boone Saturday to play ASU (1:30 p.m. air time on AM 1450, WATA), crack the Top 25 this week. The Bulldgos are ranked 21st.
Defending national champion North Dakota State (2-0) moves to No.1 as the Bison defeated Colorado State, an FBS school, 22-7 Saturday in Fort Collins, CO. Sam Houston State, which had the week off, falls to No.2. Montana State, James Madison and Youngstown State round out the top five.
