A woman was hurt this morning when the Oldsmobile she was driving collided with an AppalCart bus on King Street. The wreck was just past the Water Street intersection at about 10:15 when driver of the sedan, Juanita Bollaert of Boone, came across the center line and struck the bus, according to Boone Police.  She was carefully removed from the car with the assistance of Boone Fire, but then after being checked out by Watauga Medics, refused transport to Watauga Medical Center. Investigators at the scene said that the collision tore the left front wheel off of the mounting of the Olds sedan, while flattening a tire and causing some $2000 or more damage to the bus. Juanita Bollaert was cited for being Left of Center.
